Scope: Applicable to all regular, contract, and probationary staff.
Appointments: Follow AICTE/UGC norms. Probation is 1 year, extendable based on performance.
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon–Sat). Punctuality is mandatory.
Leave Policy:
Casual Leave: 12 days/year
Earned Leave: 15 days/year (eligible staff)
Medical & Maternity Leave: As per govt norms
Prior approval required for all leave
Conduct: Professionalism, discipline, and ethical behavior are compulsory. Misconduct will lead to disciplinary action.
Performance Review: Annual appraisal based on teaching, research, attendance, and contribution.
Duties:
Faculty: Complete syllabus, participate in academic/college events, guide students
Non-teaching: Support admin, labs, and library functions
Exit Terms: 3-month notice or salary in lieu required for resignation. Termination may occur for valid reasons with due process.
Promotion & Increments: Based on merit, performance, and qualifications per norms.
General: All staff must comply with college policies. Legal matters fall under local jurisdiction.
